I'm thoroughly unimpressed. 1. The cold water tap from the sink wasn't cold. It wasn't even lukewarm. It was rather warm to the touch. As in, it was warm enough that I thought for a moment, I'd turned the wrong faucet handle. 2. The trim on the wall was literally falling off. See pic. 3. The shower curtain rod was broken, and the "fix" was red zip ties... that didn't work. As a result, the shower curtain wouldn't stay drawn closed. 4. The alarm clock was unplugged, so I had to plug it back in and re-set the time myself.... Which is secondary to TRASH being on the floor. Behind the nightstand, I went to go plug in the clock, and found a bracelet from an event on the floor. See pic. Color me thoroughly unimpressed.

Rooms were not clean soap from previous tenant was still in bathroom and a moldy slice of banana on the lamp leg by the front window of the room. And also return home feeling ill and and now awaiting covid test. Great location however and the staff seeing courteous and to keep to themselves. The pool area was nice the kids enjoyed it however

I have never had such horrible service in my entire life! The staff was absolutely Unacceptable! The rooms were filthy, the pool was filthy, very outdated! I do not recommend this place to anyone!! I got my money back and went to the Best Western! Do yourself a favor and don’t waste you time or money!!

This hotel claims to be pet friendly. We have stayed at this hotel 4 times - every time we stay in Lawrence this was our go to because they are “pet friendly”. And my service dog always does well in hotels. I had to leave her in her kennel for a work event, and received a call that if I didn’t come get my dog they would make us leave because they got a noise complaint. This had never happened before. I had to leave my event and when I got back to the hotel, I listened from outside and my service dog was silent. When I came in the room she was asleep in her kennel. How can you call your hotel pet friendly and then not tolerate pets? I always let them know ahead of time that I’m bringing her. I am so disappointed that we will have to find a new hotel to stay at when we frequent Lawrence in the future.
