Campground well kept. Campsite next to beautiful Ollalie Creek.

$48 for two nights. reservation done via recreation website. sits at 2k elevation. upper level and lower level. site 10 shares inital driveway with site 9 and then separates. plenty of room for a tent. picnic table and fire pit provided. vault toilets. no water. there are a couple pull thru sites on upper level. day use spot. campground host onsite. $7 for a bundle of wood or four bundles for $25. noise of Olallie River drowns out road traffic and is soothing. Lower level is on McKenzie River and Olallie River flows into it. Plenty of tree cover at all the sites.

A very peaceful campground. The lower level is the best as it is closest to the river and farthest from the road. There is only one water pump in the campground, so bring a large jug to store your water. At night, the road is hardly busy and doesn’t cause that much of a disturbance. Most sites seemed pretty spacious. My site had room for four tents, two of which were fairly large. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely go again.

We drove here the first week of October. The campground was really well maintained, the bathrooms were very nice. The spaces for parking are easy entry. The river is very close and several units have great river views. The little boat launch was nice and we saw several drift boats in the water. We were near where the Olallie Creek comes out into the McKenzie river a really lovely creek.

Absolutely it would work. We were very comfortable with our 20 foot trailer.
Fishing is permitted but you have to walk a half mile down a paved road to get potentially good spot. I haven't seen anyone fish directly from their campsite, despite it being right on the river.
yes. there are campsites there. I would choose one close to the river
Site 2 and 3 can accommodate a large motor home. No hookups, but can dump and get water a short distance from campgrounds. Drive through to the end of the upper loop and pull into the site that way to get a great forest view. 20 dollars per night, eight dollars for second vehicle if not towed. Discounts do apply to night stays.
