My husband and I have lived in Colchester since elementary school, never plan on leaving it. We currently live in a beautiful two bedroom unit at Country Place with our two baby girls. We’ve been here for about 8 months now. The office staff is very nice and flexible. I remember when we were signing the lease my husband had to be there because he’s the head of household, unfortunately his work schedule couldn’t work with their normal hours so they came in earlier so he could sign. I really appreciated that, not a lot people do that! The office is getting a lot of complaints about being rude, chances are you were rude first and they gave it back lol. Whenever there’s anything that needs repairing they send someone out immediately. The maintenance guys are very nice and efficient. My daughter’s bathroom faucet was leaking. One of them came out and fixed it THAT DAY!! It was awesome. When I was getting my dryer installed there was an issue with the hook up vent, called the office immediately sent someone to fix it AND it was fixed that same day. Wonderful service I’m able to have my own washer/dryer!!!(I spent my entire adulthood every weekend at the laundromat)😆😆😆 there’s a dishwasher which is another thing I’ve never had, I had to call the office and ask them how to turn it on, gave them a good laugh 😂. The garage is great, big enough to fit our car into. LOTS of closets😍! Fair warning though i think most of the units are carpeted so if you have small children or you are a messy eater you WILL be spot cleaning everyday 😂😂😂. I love the balcony, on rainy days we like to sit out there listening to the rain and read 😌. The neighbors are fairly nice, most people keep to themselves. Like with ALL apartment living there are always going to be petty issues with neighbors lol. Not really a big deal 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do have an issue is with the oil company. I wish they would get with the times and make paying a bill easier. We are very fortunate that we get to live here, there are a lot of other families that are waiting. We waited about two months before something opened up. My family and I really enjoy living here! It’s been wonderful! Sorry for the very long rant lol. I hope this was helpful 🤘🏻

I called to view a apartment and the woman that they have answering the phones was very very rude and had the biggest attitude i was shocked you would think they would be nice and sweet considering they need us to rent from them to keep their business afloat .... So caution when you call there and hopefully they get nicer employees to work for them in the future! I really wanted to rent from them but i just couldnt get passed this rude woman that answered the phone ...major turn off !!!

Rotten experience. I called to inquire about vacancies - the phone rang six times and I was greeted with a "Hello?!" as if I was bothering the person on the other end. I had to ask if the number was for Country Place. I asked if there were any vacancies and I was told, "Well, I don't know. What are you looking for?" Customer service is atrocious and the staff is poorly trained on answering phones and being courteous to prospective tenants. I am glad I called - I can only imagine what kind of experience the tenants have with such a lousy office staff!
