All I needed to do was drop off a prepared specimen. I arrived at 11:45. I checked in at the kiosk. They close from 12:00-12:30 for lunch. No one came in the 15 minutes I was waiting and there was no place to simply drop off the specimen. I spoke to the Quest driver and she said she was unable to assist me. I did not wait an extra 30 minutes for them to return from lunch.

Stopped in to get a blood test. Receptionist asked what I needed after checking my temp. Her answer to my comment of needing a blood draw was to wave me over to the sign-in pad. I followed the instructions, and yes, I saw that one needed an appointment. However, I was issued a number. I mistakenly thought the appointment was for seeing a doctor. So I sat there for at least 20 minutes before a gal came out, called my # then informed me I needed an appointment. Explain to me the purpose for the receptionist if not to at least tell someone this information She was rude and totally incompetent.

Tried scheduling an apt to draw blood for tests my Dr. Ordered. On line - whole month is unavailable. By phone, after listening to useless messages for 6 mins was asked to press 3 for auto scheduler. After dialing 3 got the message that line currently busy and disconnected. Awful. I am trying to find another place to go. I could not give zero star so 1 is much higher than i would give otherwise.

Only my first time here. Not nearly as “terrible” as some reviews are painting it to be. They have a tablet to sign-in with and an interactive waiting list on and LED display. I walked in around 11 AM and was out within fifteen minutes. The staff behind the counter never addressed me nor did I see much of them, but there was no need as the process was mostly automated. The phlebotomist herself was quiet and didn’t really interact with me much aside from directing me in gathering my blood, but she was quick and efficient and I was in and out. Not everyone will have this experience as a group walked in behind me and due to the lack of serendipity there will have a far longer wait, but it was painless (no pun intended) and quick. I avoided going to this location for a while now due to the bad reviews — preferring Marlborough — but the facility was quite state-of-the-art and looked to be linked in with Backus Hospital’s network and overall it was a fine experience.
