1 star because i had to in order to leave a review. my husband and i just moved to The Dalles,Oregon, however he owns and operates a small motorcycle repair and detail shop in Portland in which he travels to and from every day.We went camping for my bday and traveled threw alot of really aggressive pot holes and gravel which resulted in all but 1 lug nut falling out [THE TIRES WERE NOT LES SCHWAB TIRES NOR DID LES SCHWAB PUT THE TIRES ON] my husband literally just purchased the 2005 Tahoe 2 days before we went camping.We are lucky we made it home without problem because we were unaware that we lost the lug nuts.[explains the pulling on the drive home though.Anyway when my husband discovered this today he drove to the Les Schwab with 1 lug nut and spares that he had and asked if les schwab would please put them on for he did not have the right size tool to do it.Les Schwab refused to do it and more so mocked him and tried to sell them there lug nuts for 8 bucks a piece and stated they still would not put them on for him if he did purchase the lug nuts that he would have to purchase all 4 new tires.When my husband left he made it about 150 feet maybe when he lost the tire it didnt just come off it came off and ripped acrossed the street and down into an unreachable ditch .Of course Les Schwab is going to use the safety policy and liability disclaimer ,and granted its always going to be safer with brand new tires on any vehicle at the same time its not always necessary and tends to b e less affordable these these days. putting the lug nuts on for him would have been safer then refusing to do so, not to mention kind. What if that tire would have slammed into an on coming car or rammed into a bicyclist? what if it caused my husband to lose control or hit another vehicle and was harmed. Did I mention he's Disabled with both of his knees wired back together a steel rod screwed into his right foot that runs up his femur and wraps around his hip ?ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE MONEY HUNGARY ARROGANT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE>NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I GO TO LES SCHWAB AGAIN .And I have financed threw them in Portland before ,then I was content...NEVER AGAIN .Whoever the old guy with white hair and beard and the younger little guy with little man syndrome, you are not kind people nor do you stand up to who and what you claim to stand for.

They are consistently professional and extremely helpful. I have heard different stories but they've ALWAYS treated me well. My rims didn't take the clip on weights and threw them a quarter of a mile down the road. These folks immediately replaced them with the adhesive weights, and I was back driving in 10 minutes, no charge. Now, I know that some people will say that they should have put the adhesive weights on to begin with, but how should they know? It was minor. These folks are consummate professionals and have AMAZING customer service. At this moment, I am having some front end parts replaced and an alignment done on my 2500 Ram. Yes, they recommended the parts replacement because I knew something was wrong, and maybe it's upsell, but it's worth it! They guarantee their work, and though I can do it, they can do it loads faster and they have EVERYTHING on hand. So, yeah, imho, they rock.

I would call AAA, if you don't have triple AAA, call a friend or someone who might. Unfortunately, Les schwab is closed right now. Maybe Uber to a hotel and Les Schwab can fix it in the morning. I can assist tomorrow if you need me

I went to Les Schwab, The Dalles because of positive online reviews and I am so very glad I did. The exceeded the expectations built somewhat high from many raving reviews. Grreat, friendly staff and you feel like the whole shop is your private pit crew all working on just your truck. They took very good care of us and our baby as never been better. We are very happy customers sure to return with our other or car or van when needed. Very impressive.
I believe they charge somewhere around $15 per tire plus the cost of new valve stems. I don't think I paid more than $65 last time I had that done. It never hurts to call and ask
