This office is the WORST. From the first moment you walk through that door, everyone treats you very badly. They do not solve anything for you, and they treat you in a super disrespectful way. Shame on a government office to have such disrespectful and rude employees. Don't go to that office unless you want to have a really bad time.

This lowell office is horrible. I'll be on hold for an hour and get a representative give my info and get told to hold and hear a click. Got hung up on 3 times. Sat at the office for two hours a few weeks ago said my checks were all set for a year. Received no check. When I actually do get a representative they don't know what's going on. Am I in the twilight zone ?

Khmer / Cambodia translator is awful, doesn’t know how to help with translating at all! When she ask in the Khmer language, she should know how Khmer will respond back, last name is stated first before the first name, why can she understand that?! She still didn’t make it clear which name to say first in the Khmer language , and keep asking the same thing! My poor mother gotten so confused in the process!

Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. I called many times. Finally got someone in the phone. I'm explaining to them what I'm trying to get done and asking if I can go in asked if I can bring in my documents. She is super rude. Tells me to send in original documents. I ask her how can I send in my license. I need to drive with it. She hung up on me. Call back and she is super rude. Wish I got her name but wow, lack of professionalism. If you don't like your job, find another.

Applying for a SS card is free according to instructions for form SS-5

It's really a Toss up.I would make an Appointment.
You can create an account and do it online or over the telephone
I don't really know
Not indirectly. You can ask the agent and that person will put you in the right direction disability check leads to other resources
I dont believe they monitor this, you are better off calling them directly or going to their offices
Nope you can just walk in. There is a kiosk where you can sign in.
On line best Michael go to my account under social security quite fast and easy have new password ready
You can request one by mail. To do this you have to fill out an SSA-5 and mail in your unexpired Driver's License or passport. You cannot mail in copies. If you choose mail, you must mail the actual documents. Your other option is to bring these documents into the office and wait for us to take you application in person. Whether you do it by internet, mail or in person, the card takes 2 weeks to ship to your mailing address.
Yes
You can simply mail that to us at 151 Warren Street, Suite 300, Lowell, MA 01852.
You can do it online at my social security.
You need a direct deposit form from whichever bank you are transferring your benefits too and bring it to the office so they can have it all set it up for you
Call or go online, but mostly first come first serve.
