We came From Canada and stayed at this koa and were very pleased ~ The front staff were very inviting upon arrival and answered all my questions . We had several encounters with the owner Chris and he was very kind to us and even recommended things for us to do around the town while we were there . We decided to stay a extra night and he was there to rebook me and was very pleasant and professional . The Bathrooms are clean and the sites were well maintained . We will return one day to camp at this place for sure ~

After asking if we would be able to use tents in an RV parking spot (the last spot left for the weekend) and being told "yes" my group of 12 (between 2 campsites, which we were told was the limit--so as far as we know, no rules were broken) we were kicked out for "breaking the rules and having too many people". Interesting that up until our Black friend arrived we were perfectly fine, after he arrived we were kicked out for rule breaking. 10/10 don't recommend. We had a better time in the Walmart parking lot

I made a reservation with KOA only to drive up to Bangor, ME from PA to get my reservation canceled upon showing up Tuesday night at 7pm. I was shocked and surprised as Chris (manager/owner??) had issues with me charging my car on the 20amp circuit provided by the site I requested. I tried to tell him about the previous KOA allowed it and the 20amp work for the 3 days my daughter and I were there. He would not talk to me about it and completely shut down, shutting my daughter and I out for the night. I saw him reach for his phone and press a few buttons that looked like he was recording the conversation without my knowledge or consent. He did instruct a lady to call the police. I asked were else could we go and at first she wasn’t saying anything and then offered up a few places to look into at 7pm at night on that Tuesday. We were able to find another place to stay, but as we checked around with other campsites, they were not surprised by Chris’s actions. It was hard to explain why did you drive up from PA without a plan. Well, my plan is to inform folks that your EV/plug-in will not be welcomed there. Also, the way he talks about his power supply, makes me think it’s not up to code. Anyone who knows anything about electricity knows it’s not an issue unless it’s not up to code.

Was going to stay here during summer. Glad I didn't. Reviews on the KOA site shows enough of how the owners feel about campers. The other reviews on Google paint a better picture. Avoid the location. KOA brand needs to step in and either fix the issues or pull out before losing customers. I would recommend other campgrounds over this, even if it is closer for some, go for better service and guarantee reliability of power. Really want to see how the owner is towards paying customers? Check YouTube. He going to pull the "call the cops " card one to many times

Yes
Yes it does. The place is very dog friendly and has a wonderful atmosphere. Chris the owner takes great pride in the park. It is a must stay destination when in Maine.
It does vary depending on a variety of factors. However my family stayed in one of their geodesic domes for one night at $94.95+, had we stayed for two nights it would have been 79.95+ per night. That was for "glamping", so other sites are less.
