Bought a 2017 car there in 2019 and I have had more issues with it than I did with my older car that was more than 15yrs old. I've had battery issues several times, I've had to put tires on ( even though i was told they were new tires) and now the car won't start. I called AAA and they said it's not the battery so now I have to be thinking of putting more money into it. I'm very disappointed. I shouldn't have to be putting so much money into it already.

I was treated with the most disrespect ever in my history of buying anything within the past 30 years! The test drove the vehicle and I noticed the tag in the vehicle was $2,000 less than what I paid. So I brought this up to the sales manager and with an attitude he said if I do not like the price then leave the building and buy elsewhere. I said whoa whoa calm down no one is upset. He then said if tell him what to do one more time he will not sell me car and ask me to leave. At this time I did not know he was the GM, so I asked for the upper management and he said loudly, I run this place, I'm the manager! If you don't like it then leave....... I reluctantly bought the vehicle as it was well under book value and I figured I would never have to see or hear from this company again, Well, the loan process was so messy they had our business name completely wrong. I was suppose to be a guarantor on the loan only and now I am fighting with bank to get my off as a co-signer on the loan. I should have walked out of the sales center the second I was treated terribly. I run/own a company and would never treat anyone the way I was treated that day.

I have been here a couple times. Once to test drive a car and once to sell one. When test driving a couple years ago, there was a very no pressure approach. I took the car for a ride and once I returned I was asked if I had any other questions about the car. I was then handed a business card and just told to call if I was interested. Was very pleased with the whole interaction. Recently I returned to see if they would be interested in buying a used car from me without purchasing one from them. They gave me a very fair price, and the transaction was seamless. I'm happy to have done business with them and wouldn't hesitate to purchase something from their inventory.

This was simply the best car buying experience I have had in years. They are not in my area so I did not know them but they had the unique car that I wanted. I contacted them in advance to let them know I was coming and they were so courteous and put absolutely no pressure on me at all. The most embarrassing part was when I had decided on a vehicle..they got it all polished end spiffed up for me and put my temporary plates on and I took it for a final drive only to realize it did not have navigation. I did not notice that before. I embarrassingly returned from my drive and said I can't do this. My salesman, Joel, smiled and said don't worry we can swap out another car. Indeed they did spiff up the other one that had everything I wanted and I went on my merry way. Jon, the F and I fellow was equally supportive and helped me get all the paperwork done with ease. I would strongly recommend dealing with them. As a matter of fact my regular dealership close to my home had told me that I would not have issues dealing with Portsmouth Ford. I am an exceptionally satisfied customer.
