I had a really bad experience, even though the staff was mostly nice about it. They made my glasses wrong twice and one employee tried to push me to wear them for 2 weeks to let my eyes adjust. I had them tested by my optometrist and found out they were the wrong Rx with the VERY wrong OC. They wanted to remake them after the second mistake but I asked for a refund and they gave it to me with no issue.

Harold was awesome, he helped me get the right frames for my prescription, progressive, and made sure that they were adjusted correctly to my head. Great deal for 2 pair. Way better than trying to buy online!

Eyemart Express on Center Street, Auburn did an excellent job of helping my son get new glasses, in an emergency situation, at a reasonable & affordable price! We were pleasantly surprised when they said they could be ready within 1 hour! Our Customer Rep's service was outstanding! She was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful! 🙌🥳👏

Yes they do. I walked in and one of the staff members assisted me out right away and I felt they were very helpful, polite, and very knowledgeable about their job and the information they gave me so that I could make the right choice about what I wanted to get.
Fair prices on sale frames. Currently machine is broke so glasses take almost 3 weeks to be done nd sent back. Normally it is same day.

No, not to pay for the glasses. The attached optometrist office does accept mainecare for eye exams.

If they have the type of lenses you are looking for in stock then they usually can have them done in an hour or less. Depending on how busy they are.
Provided they have your prescription in the type of lens you're looking for yes. I went on a Saturday and left after paying for my order around 1pm. I was told to expect a text or phone call around 4pm that day letting me know that my glasses were ready. I got said text around 3 (again the same day).

I'm not sure about eye exams, but for glasses I was able to walk in and speak to an associate.

No I have my own Eye doctor. I'm pretty sure they only make glasses. But you can call to make sure.

It depends on what type of lenses and and frames you choose. 8 paid 126 and change for 2 prs of glasses. I have progess8ve lenses. 1 pr is prescrip sunglasses.
I gotin on a saturday because i put my name on a cancelation list. Went in for 1240 apt. Got glasses by 445 pm that afternoon. These were progressive lenses. Extremely happy with service.
I put myself on a call if cancelation list and got called back.
Just got my appt at the eye doctor in same building for just $89.
