Great doctor in Newport. I was able to get an appointment for my daughter one week from calling. Very short waiting room time and Dr Lehrer was professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and we were on our way in good time. I wish I could see Dr Lehrer too.

It depends on what you need diagnosed. Dr. Lehrer has his doctorate in general practice. If your sickness requires a specialist, then you would need to see a specialist.
I would just call him and ask he does take new patient just call I never found him to turn anybody away
