My wife and I make a point of eating at Janet's Kitchen whenever we drive from North Carolina to Wisconsin to visit family. It may be a few miles out of the way off the intersate, but you'll be glad you made the trip. Food as good as this isn't as common as it used to be. Portions are generous, reasonably priced and it's what fresh, home cooked meals used to taste like. And if you happen to be there for breakfast, order the pork sausage....it is so unbelievably delicious!

I stumbled upon this little gem of nostalgia. Riding down the interstate I pulled off thinking I was going to have breakfast at the "Farmhouse". Nope. Doesn't open for breakfast. My fortune saved. Janets Kitchen is great food. Really inexpensive. Kind patrons gave me good directions how to go around the wreck on the interstate. Win win! Lose Farmhouse!

Excellent food for a good price, will definitely be coming back! Staff is very friendly, and everything is prepared quickly. Make sure you have cash though as they do not take cards!
