Filled out an application for a dog. I understand that the ten dollars for the application goes toward the rescue, and I wouldn't mind that or the long application if it seemed like they did anything with it. On their website they say to email with any questions and to call if you haven't heard anything for a week. I sent a couple of emails and called after a week of not hearing anything. A lady who works there did call me back. She was very sweet but basically told me that she had no idea when the applications for this dog would be processed. It seems like all of the application processing gets done by one person. The lady who called me gave me her number and told me I could follow up with her. However after this point I didn't feel like I should have to continuously reach out in order to get any information. I never heard from them again and 2 months later the dog is still on the website apparently awaiting adoption.

Friendly staff, very knowledgeable. The animals were wonderful.

They're a scam agency. They ask for $10 for an application fee and they don't even give you a chance. Leslie, the owner, doesn't even know the difference between an ESA and a Service animal. We explained the different to her 5 different times but for some odd reason she had a VERY hard time understanding that, and still believes they're the same thing. Don't get a pet from them because tbh I don't even think they adopt dogs out. I just believe they're scamming people out of money and stringing them along

We rescued our Chloe there 11 years ago. They really care for the animals there and do everything they can on the budget they have. We hope to rescue someone else there again. Sad news today in 2020 marks one yr since we had to say goodbye to Chloe

They do take volunteers. You'll have to take a " get to know the animals" class before you start, though. All help and donations are greatly appreciated!
Yes but contact leslie first before dropping off
