Black walnut, tulip poplar, sycamore, oak, maple, beech and more compose this over a mile in length wooded trail. After a steep hill to the start of the trail you will find a more gentle path that goes along the old Pomeroy & Newark Railroad bed and the banks of the White Clay Creek. I saw 4 great blue herons, 2 wood ducks, several deer, and a lot of song birds.

Overgrown on many sections of trail. You will need to push through a lot of brush. Look out for poison ivy and deer ticks. It would be a great hike along the creek otherwise.

Short, about 1.2 miles, but great variety and peaceful / quiet. Funny to park in a neighborhood but a great trail
