USE CAUTION . I used to be an employee at this place lumber yard. All the managers especially the owner (Vincent)Creg treat their employees like they were last year's trash. they talk ill about every employee behind their back even the customers. Be careful with what you buy here . You are more than likely to get termites. As I used to work in the door shop we have sent out plenty doors with termites. Can't say I didn't try to warn you. In all reality you guys are better off going to home Depot or Lowe's at least they have a better return policy. As well as their human resources isn't the trash can. I strongly advise you do not work here and do not buy any material from this lumber yard.

On 5/30/17 I went to Peninsular lumber to shop for an exterior door. I found a profile I liked and asked if it was available without any wood components. I was told that there was wood in it, but that it was "buried in the door as reinforcement" and that there was "no way" water could get to it. I ordered the door with rot-proof composite jambs and explained how i wanted it to swing. When I went to pick it up the swing was backwards. The manager apologized and said they could fix it within a few days. Today I went to pick up the fixed door. I told the associate helping me I wanted to open the door to inspect it but was told it wouldn't open because it was nailed shut. When I got it home and pried out the nails to open it I found the entire cross-section of the door (top and bottom) was exposed, unprimed, unpainted particle board and wood. Not at all what I was told I'd be getting. I called immediately to speak with the manager to explain the problem but wasn't offered any solutions. I spent $284.59 on a garbage door I can't return because it was a custom order. In the future I will stick with the big-box stores and I would highly recommend staying away from this place.
