I have been coming here for years but, since Covid I have been natural and couldn’t really manage my own hair. I came back to J&R and it was like I never left. They welcomed me with open arms and took this dry 4b hair and transformed it. They washed it, deep conditioned, trimmed and styled it. It was like the hands of God were on my hair. I could run my hands through my hair. My hair was soft and beautiful. J&R really takes care of your hair and the customer service is amazing. They also pay attention to area of you hair that need more care. They are so clean and kind. I recommended them to everyone. As a disabled veteran, not to many salons have patience but they do. I’m so grateful for them. I’m so happy.

If zero star was an option I would have given them zero. I went in for hair coloring and hair extension(I had my own hair) The owner is very rude, dismissive and unprofessional. The stylist told me that she could add the extension but using a new method, all she did was rubber band small pieces of my hair and connect the extension to those pieces. My hair is natural, within less than 24 hours my natural hair freeze up from the heat. I was very upset because they charge me $500 at the end of my service, then $300 a few days later to fix it. I had the extension in for less than a week. Now I understand why the facility is always empty they have very poor quality of work.

Ms. Rosa is the best!! I'm glad I found this salon. I came in for a roller set. Ms. Rosa examined my hair before starting. She took her time with my hair. Each step she explained to me what product she was using on my hair. Before styling she suggested a trim and removed an appropriate amount. I enjoyed the Dominican music as she finished styling my hair. I had a wonderful experience and will be returning. Ms. Rosa you are the best!!!!
