We have been using smart shop storage for over 3 years and have had nothing but a great experience. Joshua has been nothing but helpful and always available to answer any questions we have. The location is great. The place is always clean and well kept. I really appreciate the secure measures they have to access the units. Would absolutely consider using them in the future if needed.

The door at this facility has been broken since September 2021. Ridiculous, makes it next to impossible to leave when more than one person is inside. If smartstorage can't afford to keep up on necessary maintenance they should not continue renting. Do not rent here its such a pain. They also randomly increase your rent by 10. With no explanation. Do not recommend

Gate broken since November, now being told it's not going to be fixed until may and no refunds for an already expensive rental. Terrible storage , do not waste time to rent. Management is lazy and cares nothing about your items or how awful it is to turn truck around inside. Now people are hitting inside doors causing them to malfunction.

I had a storage unit at the Riggs location. I have the office notice I would be vacating the unit by the end of November. On December 1st, I was charged rent for December. I received two emails, one showing a charge of $108 and one showing a trying of $94. I immediately called the office to find out what was going on. I have talked to the local manager no less than 6 times. 3 or 4 times she told me I was on the top of her to do list. The other times she said I should have gotten my refund (not for the full amount though) and she sounded confused that I hadn't gotten it. The next time I talked to her she said I could come in and get a cash refund. I was not able to stop by the next day (Thursday). I called on Friday to tell her I was stopping by. She tried stalling. Finally she said the refund was only going to be for the difference of what was charged and the amount refunded (about $10 or $12). I said it was supposed to be for the full amount. I got more excuses. The check was mailed. They would have to research it and see if it was cashed. I asked who else I could speak to. She said the regional manager was going to be there that day and she would have him call me. Funny joke. I have since talked to two people from the call center. The last one said they were waiting for a call back from the regional manager. At this point, it's the principal. I want my full refund.
