My son and I love coming here. There are some trails to walk which is nice. There are ducks, turtles, and rabbits you may come across while taking a walk around the trails and lake. Always see people fishing here. There are a couple small areas for the kids. They also have a few events for families, you just need to look it up. Very peaceful and pretty.

I have been to this Preserve many times by now. It is always clean, and well maintained. I have been here on several occasions, always with others. We all have a great time whenever we go. There are so many beautiful spots to stop and enjoy. There are several spots where you can take photographs as well. My friends and I have held many photoshoots at this location. The spots around the lakes are amazing. I love the small area with the running water. Tons of trees everywhere so shading is good too. I have not been in the bathrooms, so I assume they are clean? But I cannot speak on that subject. This is a great place that is perfect for taking pictures, getting outdoors, and having a good picnic. I highly recommend going to the preserve to experience it for yourself.

Amazing place! I was so surprised to find this beautiful oasis in the city. I actually saw more wildlife here than I’ve ever seen at the Desert Botanical Garden - it’s so beautiful and peaceful. Dog friendly (and cat friendly too - I saw one with a harness on going for a walk). Lots of facilities such as playground equipment for the kids and restrooms. Parking is easier at the library - the parking lot that google takes you to is just the small overflow parking lot. No entrance free - just make sure to leave no trace and don’t be a litterbug. Highly recommend!

What a surprise - a beautiful tranquil oasis hidden from the busy city life of the greater Phoenix area and a refreshing contrast to the Arizona desert. Great place for a short nature walk, birdwatching, enjoying a sunset and meditating in nature. The huge white pelicans are so unexpected and deserving of a photo moment. Avoid weekends and holidays as it is popular with families and the main trails and view points get overwhelmed.

No. Only has limited parking and that fills up quick on the weekend
Yes, there is an occasional bench that I remember
They are mostly dirt trails. Concrete are just towards the front of the park. A great place for a run.
It's open Friday and Saturday nights.
