The staff was friendly and happy. The food was amazing. The grounds were beautiful. The house could use some renovation on the inside and out to make it more apealing and prevent animals from flying inside at night.

I can't say enough good things about the retreat. It's a big old house with what seems like dozens of rooms nestled in the woods north of San Francisco. There are good facilities that provide pretty good food; the beds are comfortable, the staff is unobtrusive and friendly, and the grounds are beautiful for exploring. There's even parking. It's hard to get to without a car, so you may be able to take a Lyft there but getting one out may be challenging. That said, there place is restorative and a perfect place to have an intimate event.

A perfect destination for almost any group wanting to get away and focus on a task or goal. Very accommodating staff. Delicious food. Quiet and secluded yet not at all far from San Francisco. Various configurations of bedrooms and bathrooms. Hiking trails. Large porch and sloping lawn. Ping pong.

The last few miles are on a narrow winding road, but it's worth the trip.
There's handicap access to the building, the conference room and dining room are at the first floor and are accessible by wheelchair. There are one or two bedrooms on the first floor. There's no elevator to the other two floors.
