In 2017 I got broadsided on my driver's door. I was diagnosed with dislodged vertebrae in my lower back. I hired Brian Breiter to be my attorney. He suggested I go to a surgeon he works with to have my back operated on. The surgeon left me with 13 screws loose in my back. After discovering the loose screws, I told Brian I would sue the surgeon for malpractice. He requested that I not pursue a malpractice lawsuit stating that I would need that surgeon in court. I listened to Brian because he was my attorney, and I thought he was looking out for me. It turned out that I only had 12 months because of a California statute to sue a doctor for malpractice. After discovering malpractice, I continued to tell Brian I wanted to sue the surgeon. It wasn’t until 13 months after the date of discovery that Brian finally settled. I realized then that Brian was covering for the surgeon he continues sending clients to for back surgery. Brian also lied to me when I first hired him that he would not take more of the settlement money after paying the doctors and hospitals and that I would get most of the settlement. Brian took over 60% of the settlement money and left me with the remainder. Suppose Brian reads this and contests it. I can only tell you that he will be lying. I am telling 100% God’s truth about what Brian did to me. I’ve got screwed more ways than one after hiring Brian Breiter. Today I still suffer from the surgery because out of 13 screws, the second e surgeon could only repair eight. I will live for the rest of my life with five screws loose in my body. I worry that one of those screws doesn’t hurt another organ in my body.

I was involved in a head on collision. There were multiple vehicles involved & it was a complicated situation to sort out. My accident occurred during the height of the Covid outbreak, which also made the claim process more difficult to navigate. Brian & his staff fought it out to the end & secured the maximum settlement available for me. It really made a difference having the expertise of knowledgeable attorneys to assist me through a very difficult time in my life. Thank you Brian for being a man of your word & coming through for me. If you’re ever in need of an expert attorney then look no further.

Brian and his team were phenomenal. They were always communicative, thoughtful, respectful, and guided me through a fiasco after a professional driver rear ended me and the insurance didn’t want to pay. I don’t think I could’ve gone through this without them. I’m so grateful for Brian’s help! Also, Jeff is awesome. Just call them!

My fiancé was hit by a car in 2019 while crossing a crosswalk. It was an incredibly devastating moment and she was lucky to be alive after a fractured wrist, broken bones in her foot, and abrasions all over her body. Not to mention the new reality of rehabilitation both psychologically and physically at the age of 24. Neither of us had been in a situation like that before. We didn’t understand how quickly we needed to act w/ finding legal help, and to be honest, we didn’t have the energy to deal with a big search at the time. Luckily, my fiancé’s sister came across the Law Offices of Brian Breiter online. She read a lot of great reviews and really liked what she saw on the website. Coincidentally, a day later, after telling a friend of mine about the accident, they also recommended Brian’s office for representation. Brian and his colleague Peter actually came to our apartment to meet with us because my lady was in no condition to leave. I’ll never forget how great they were that evening. We were down to 2 final choices for representation and Brian’s presence during that visit sealed the deal for her. My fiancé went with his office, and nearly 2.5 years later, I can’t tell you all how happy we are with our choice. The communication was totally transparent during these tough times. Brian and team were VERY clear as to the steps my fiancé needed to take in order to give herself the best shot at a fair settlement/trial result. There were times that months went by without any action, any results, any anything… but Brian told us that there would be some slow moments. She needed to heal and the only way that was going to happen was to give it time. So even in those frustrating moments when it seemed like “DOES ANYBODY CARE ABOUT THIS TRAGEDY?!” … we had to remember to play it cool and keep in mind what our lawyer told us. Long story short, my fiancé just settled her case and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. She listened to all of their advice and then let them handle it. Although it took awhile, we had to remind ourselves that her accident occurred pre-pandemic. So, naturally, that slowed things down. But even in the middle of that mess, we were always able to reach the office with questions or status updates. If you are pondering choices in the Los Angeles area as to who should represent you in your injury-related accident, I highly recommend the Law Offices of Brian Breiter, LLP.

Questions & Answers

Should I get a lawyer for a car accident that was my fault?

Your insurance company will provide you with the lawyer if there is a claim brought against you in the matter is litigated. So of the accident is truly your fault you should communicate directly with your insurance company.

I am an attorney in Los Angeles. One of my clients would like to appeal an Orange County Superior Court Judgment on a medical malpractice matter. Is this within your realm? Can we have a meeting to explain the case to you?

Unfortunately we do not handle appeals. You should specifically reach out to an appellate attorney.
