Speaking with Cathy from NY Bar Association has been a pleasure. Although the Association was not able to help me, they provided me with referrals and step by step instructions. Thanks again Cathy!

Questions & Answers

I've filed a complaint with the MTA alleging that as a passenger I was subjected to harassment &race discrimination by MTA employee. Because the MTA seems to play time, I decided to file a lawsuit. Need a lawyer on contingency basis.

My lawyer isn't any help, I would like to represent myself. How can I start representing myself in family court ?

I suggest you stay with the lawyer because some people can't find lawyers, so you are lucky. If you need to represent yourself, go to the Supreme Court, civil court, at City Hall Station, NYC, 6 train. Supreme Court is on Center Street. Ask for the pro se Office. They are lawyers that offer guidence to self represented but no representation.

I WAS UNJUSTLY TERMINATED FROM MY JOB. TOOK MY CAS TO FEDERAL COURT AND APPEALS COURT. THE DEFENSE COUNCIL LIED TO THE JUDGES. AND GOT THE CASE DISMISSED. I AM THINKING ABOUT SUEING THE DEFENSE COUNCIL OR HIS EMPLOYER HOW DO I PROCEED? WHAT CAN I DO?
