Park was pretty much deserted but the playground area was torn up (damaged). I would have given it one star but I like the fact that it was very private. My baby was able to run around freely without me chasing her.

Stanton is quite the interesting town, however unique it is also where I obtained my first apartment as an adult. Now, I admire parks dedicated to represent creativity, historical land marks and endless safe public fun. That's exactly what this Park/skate park has to offer along with many others in the area.

Its a really nice and beautiful park that's very well taken care of but it's right next to the Stanton police station and the cops are always there and constantly hassling people for being there and it ruins the good time you possibly could have with your friends or family. There's also a lot of transient traffic in and out of the park because it is connected to the abandoned train tracks where many of them live in tents.

Small neighbourhood park! Parts of the park smells bad. Can spot homeless here often however they never had caused any trouble. Pretty safe area as it is right next to sherrif station. Plenty of parking available.

That is a drawback. Have you tried making arrangements with the Boys and Girls Club, the Library or the Community Center?
