Absolutely the worst place to go to report and file a report of a crime. Stood outside for 5 hours waiting to file a theft report. Officers inside did not show any concern with the public having to wait outside for long extended periods. Instead blaming it on the cut of funding...great example of tax money being wasted.....Question who is policing the police.....very disappointing 😞 would not recommend to anybody

I am not going to go completely public on my experiences with the LAPD8 all I can say is that I have done everything to report an individual who isn't in jail , bullies me tried to intimididate me in every way possible it's really concerning that the LAPD has done nothing, but take reports now idk if something more drastic should happen for that person that has been doing this to me an army veteran too by the way. Now I'm in no way am going to go out of my way to look for trouble, but it's really getting to the point where even calling LAPD to actually do their job is pointless because I have a witness and I am not satisfied how this had been handled by trained individuals who are suppose to uphold the laws were suppose to follow. Not only that I have been provoked or get a reaction out of me which I don't want to happen at all never in my wildest dreams. I do everything I can to stay at home, enjoy life, spend time with my family and friends without ever getting into or running into any trouble at all. But thanks for all your help and I can tell you that all they day is get a restraining order, now what good is that if it gets denied by the judge?? So what now huh???

The officers at this station are the true meaning of public servants at its best. They are very professional, courteous. They act and help like a true officer should, they have impacted my life in a very positive way the few times ive had contact with them. May God bless 77th station, it's officers and the entire LAPD department, I proclaim safety and protection over your lives in Jesus name! Thank you all for your service to the community.

Sorry about your issue but 77th division are busy and plus you will have to contact dpss. Police are not required to be dpss workers. What would you say on the police report that would make what the dpss did sound crimminally illegal. Sorry about that.

No, unfortunately, those officers that are street cops, can get anywhere from 10 to 20 radio calls on their shift. This doesn't include investigation and reporting calls they have to follow up with.
