After reading the reviews, I can see why this court may have been the reason for a fraudulent charge on a credit card I have never used and kept locked in a drawer. $7.50 charged by "Orange Co Superior Crt W" . And of course, there is no finance dept., controller, or customer service to actually resolve the issue. Luckily, it's a credit card dispute and not something more serious.

I recommend if you can ,that move your case to another Superior Court in California. Such as Long beach or even Los Angeles. As this court is slow and some people know what they're doing and some do not but the biggest problem is in their Small claims division. They have NO REAL Judges or Commissioners. Only temporary lawyers trying to get an extra paycheck, and don't know what they're doing in the process. For example, I witness a Small Claims Court trial in which the Temp Judge told both parties " I'll look this case over on my lunch break ". Which was ridiculous as the Plaintiff had a large folder full of 18 months worth of evidence against the defendant. How can you execute sound justice in one hour while you eating? smh

I am trying to get information on how to obtain a certified document from the court on a case back in 2001, that was completed. I need to know the fees and find out if it should go to the records, archive section, etc. Nobody is answering the phones. It is the same recording. I can't imagine the task ahead. The Court website needs a complete redo.

I do not understand how this place hasn't closed down yet. As a courthouse/ legal & law facility they suck. Its hard to get connected with someone over the phone, the website is no help like it says it is, and everything is just a waiting game. You can call then call a few months later and no one knows anything about your case. Now you can't even call the main help desk directly. I finally got an email from the courthouse saying they can not locate my petition or do not see anything under my name. They misplaced my forms someone because I have proof via email and a receipt from post office of me sending them over 2 copies of the same form. Both copies went missing LOL.

Its not in the new court house. You must to go to the county website under" marriage certificate" for updates.
Go to Social Security Office.
The Orange County Courts are open. If you are vaccinated no mask is required, if you are not vaccinated you will need to wear a mask. Any questions about your husband's case should be directed to your attorney.
Phone #to speak to court clerk
Yes, but you must make an appointment. Go to OC Super Court website, click on the red COVID headline and you will see how to make an appointment.
Yes
should be probate/mental health
Don't have a number .. the day I went there was jury duty and it has its own line to check in .. it's still a good date ..
I think you would consult with a family law lawyer
It is, but on a limited basis. For info go to their website: occourts.org
Have you tried a search engine?
The court does continue to process and conduct eviction hearings, though they do so remotely via online video conference. This has been in place since June 15th of this year.
Why would you want a dispute resolution stipulation that isn't alterative?
No. But there is a YouTube live feed of all of the court proceedings.
Court here. Is this death notice? Over.
I was a juror this week, but I wouldn't know about small claims court. It looked like others couts were operating.
You should have received it in the court documents when you pleaded quilty.
Yes. You might need to set up an appointment first.
No court is open Monday thru Thursday 7/18 is a Saturday
They have pop-up tent stations along-side the Civic Center St. entrance to the courthouse and there you will find different departments for your needs.
There are pop-up tents stationed at the courthouse entrance on, Civic Center Drive. I believe you'll find what you are looking for there.
Usually going in person to the courthouse makes it easier to get a document. Online or over the phone services are not helpful when it comes to specific documents.
Make your best guess. A mistake on that question is not going to cause you trouble.
You can check the Court's website at occourts.org. You would look for "Family" under the divisions tab.
The courts are not open. The courts are tentatively set to Re open on Monday March 30th.
Currently the courts will be closed through March 27.
Yes
Courtrooms open at 130 pm (typically) but all windows in either clerks office are continuously open through lunch.
You will need to consult a legal professional.
Yup
Yes
Yes. You can go to the records department. You could also go to the lamoreux justice center in orange or the mission Viejo customer service location.
You have different parking options. The parking located against the courthouse is the most expensive: the superblock. The stadium parking is your cheapest but the furthest walk.
If she needs just a copy of the decree, she can go online to occourts.org, go to the family law case search, type in the case number and she will be able to print it out for a nominal fee. If she needs a certified copy (a copy that includes a signature from a clerk and a seal), she can mail in the copy request along with a check that specifies "not to exceed 45 dollars" to cover the fees for copies, certifying and postage back. She can mail the request to either the family law court, Lamarouex Justice center or the central Justice center, attn: records department.
Yes, come on down, we are open until 4.
Marriage licenses are at the old county courthouse, not the superior Court.
No appointment, you can walk in and go to the clerks office and let them know what you are there for.
There are several parking lots located close to the court, all with differing prices. If you want the closest parking lot, the superblock parking lot is for you. If you want the cheapest, you can park at the stadium parking lot but it's about a 8 minute walk into the court.
Go to the court and look it up in records
Just come down to the courthouse and talk to someone live and in person. We are all actually very nice people.
But does the court have the power to reduce fines due to financial hardship?
4 pm
Sounds like Ryan has experience going to the courthouse cuz he's on the money.
The superblock parking lot is the closest but also the most expensive. The stadium parking lot and the library lot are cheaper options but have a 5 min walk to the courthouse. Personally, the stadium parking lot is the best in my opinion due to the various ways of getting out of the parking lot during lunch when the big crowds hit.
435 dollars for a petition for a name change. You can also take a look at a fee waiver application and see if you qualify.
Of course. There are clerks offices for criminal, traffic and civil/small claims located on the first floor of the building.
Every courtroom is different. You should find out which courtroom your case is assigned to and call the department. Some open at 830 am. Some at 9. Some at 10. Some start with an afternoon calendar at 1:30.
The Governor of California slashed the trial courts budgets which resulted in terminating live people on the phones. Please write to your elected officials to let them know your frustrations. If you have a case number already, you can contact the courtroom clerk where your case is assigned. Courtroom numbers are listed on the public website. If the courtroom is in session though, the clerk may ask you to call back at a later time.
The courts only have holding cells, not a jail. All inmates are returned to their respective jails upon completion of their hearings. You should check at the jails in orange county. Central men's jail, Theo lacy facility or Irvine.
County recorders office, NOT the court. There are multiple recorders offices throughout orange county.
657-622-52(last two number will be the courtroom number. For example, if your case is in c66, it would be 66)
Unfortunately the Governor cut the courts budget back in 2008 and we lost alot of funding that has yet to come back completely. Through those budget cuts, we had to implement furloughs where the court even closed one day during the week. Thankfully those days are gone but we still lack the funds to have phones in the clerks office like we used to have. By all means, write to your representatives and help us get the funding back so we can help our communities better. As you state, there are only phone trees available that are automated. Depending on your case type, you may be able to call a courtroom directly. Since you didn't state what type of case you have, I will provide some generic numbers: Civil cases: 657-622-6878, press 1 Criminal cases: 657-622-8459
Whatever time your hearing is scheduled for.
You can request a Spanish interpreter as soon as you enter the courtroom. Both the sheriff and the clerk can ask for a Spanish interpreter.
I assume by arrest, you mean conviction? If so, yes, but I highly recommend seeking legal advice as it's not as simple as filling out a form.
This is a question for an attorney. Most attorneys would be willing to give you a free consultation as to your situation. I suggest calling the orange county bar association for a referral to a probate attorney.
Yes what does it mean e
Night court is on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Next night court is Tuesday, 02/19/19
Yes we are. We are state employees paid by the county
Also go in anyone of the Orange County Superior Courthouses and look up your case at the kiosks.
I am attempting to retrieve similar information about my mother’s probate case from 2004. Let me know if you find out how.
No
Yes from 12 to 1pm then they close at 4pm.
I'm sorry but i have nothing to do with the court
Not normally sometimes certain departments or courtrooms are closed but the filling window is still open Monday to Friday
Give the Jury office a call
No but they do hear criminal cases there
I looked that up, it didnt give me an adress but a street, whats the name of the building looking for
You should go the sheriff office on main street in santa ana. They can serve restraining orders for 30 dollars or in the price range
Need a divorce decree from 1974? Do I still go to 700 W Civic Center Dr. to show id. Thanks, Kathy White
You'll never find it in a place like Santa Ana, too many low lives.
I think to pay the fines in person and on the Web, but I do not know that you can pay them by phone
