Wiseacre is a special place and Chuck is an exceptional host. Join him and step back in time in this expansive, authentic, retro estate. The two story living room with massive double-decker windows overlooking Lake Whitehurst is ideal for hosting parties or kicking back and relaxing. The grounds are well manicured with many mature trees ideal for ceremonies and photo shoots. Pose under the massive Sycamore at the water's edge. Inside, Chuck has curated knick knacks from the 60s everywhere you look to keep you interested and laughing. The updated, gourmet kitchen is massive and perfect for entertaining. In addition to all that, there's also a hot tub that seats 8, 2 bars, outdoor dining and 2 patios. If you have time, relax and watch the shorebirds. We spotted egrets, cranes, terns, osprey, of course geese, and many more. The airport across the water is mesmerizing watching planes take off and land. So much personality, then there's Chuck to keep things running smooth and provide history and stories. It's his house, and it shows, but you are welcomed from the start.

Wiseacre estates went above and beyond making our special day perfect. Not only does the house feature a beautiful peninsula landscape but also virtually an art museum in the interior. Chuck and Geoff were extremely helpful, whether it be helping to set up the ceremony or organizing where everything is going, having companies to work with to set everything up, to giving us flexibility of an extra day to clean everything up. During our reception they helped when a few of our guests got rowdy and broke a glass or two. They even helped with the timing of walking out for our ceremony. If you’re looking to build your own wedding your way with the help and flexibility to do it this is your place (not the mention the beauty)!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend! –Jared and McKenna Gomez

I recently had my wedding here and it was incredibly perfect! I would not have changed a thing! Chuck is awesome! He is very helpful and our day wouldn’t have been the same without him! The owner Chuck caters to your every need and it's an amazing person himself!
