We lived here from the end of 2017 to the start of 2019. I really liked the manager Sam, he was very nice and worked with us the one month when were unable to make rent on time. He patrols the grounds regularly and the complex felt safe. Stay-in guests aren't allowed to stay for more than two weeks cumulatively per year. So if you have family that wants to visit multiple times a year keep that in mind. If you're a smoker you can't do so on the property grounds and have to walk to the sidewalk. We lived in a bottom corner unit and could faintly hear the neighbors next to us on occasion and the people upstairs were heavy-footed but it wasn't anything that would keep us up or particularly obnoxious. We never really had any major maintenance issues other than missing window screens and the oven light going out, and those were fixed within two weeks of reporting. The biggies issue for me was the windows in our unit were never properly installed and every time it rained or was extra humid outside there would be puddles on the window sill from condensation and they had to be wiped down daily or a black mold would form. This was beyond just normal condensation, it would pool off the windowsills and drip down the walls. Our unit was at the base of a slope and water would pool along the foundation of the building and the siding was rotting. When I told management about it a maintenence worker came by and kicked a hole in the siding and that hole remained there until we moved out. We were told when we moved the problem would be fixed. Came by the day after our move-out to sign paperwork and new tenants were already moving in, the hole was still there in the siding. I doubt they did anything about the moldy windows either.

Fox Hollow Apartments is great in its own way. I’ve lived there for two years and Sam is by far one of the best landlords I’ve ever had, he explained everything in detail and personally got to know me! Whenever I have an issue Sam is always there to help out. I’ve been late once on my bill and he was more than understanding about it, and when I moved out he didn’t charge me for carpet cleaning! His assistants on the other hand were less helpful. Definitely need to screen them more before hiring. The apartments themselves are exactly what you pay for, they’re older but well maintained. Summertime definitely watch for ants and spiders they creep in any way they can especially if you leave food out. Windows can occasionally get mold like every other window in every other apartment so it takes regular maintenance 30 seconds of your time to cleanup. They definitely enforce their rules but it keeps things quiet throughout the day which I greatly appreciated when I came home from work daily. They do keep an eye on you of sorts, I was told I couldn’t have anything on my porch besides what looks acceptable. Like a small table and a chair basically. Floors do creak but that’s pretty much all apartments and it can be ignored. It is very spacious especially for the 2 bedroom apartment I rented. Stove worked correctly and heaters worked wonderfully, it doesn’t use too much electricity either! That was the biggest plus, saving on my electric bill besides what I normally expected. Lots of pool rules but again for safety and cleanliness. Parking there is tricky, keep the copy of your parking space as there are people who occupy 2-3 parking spaces throughout each day and invite friends over so be prepared to remind people you’re legally allowed to tow their car out if it’s your parking space. His old assistant Michelle was discriminatory towards POC and used private information to obtain discounts or free drinks at my place of work claiming that she knew me. Glad she was fired quickly because that would’ve turned into a big lawsuit for violation of privacy. His new assistant Lexie needs to work on her attitude and tone when she speaks to clients both new and old. I wouldn’t want to go back to the apartments as a repeat tenant now solely because of her and how she’s treated me on multiple occasions. I understand she’s young and this is a stepping stone for her but in this business you build your clientele and that means watching how you speak with clients. I called just to let them know about PGE (PGE never canceled my account when I had asked them to) and how I was charged for a HUGE amount just to give them a heads up about it and Lexie gave me such an attitude blaming me for the account! “Well did you call them to cancel your account?” “But did you cancel your account with them?” “Ok I’ll let Sam know and he’ll call PGE later”. I had already resolved the issue I just wanted to let her know in case there was tenants racking up the bill or maintenance racking up the bill. She seemed to verbally attack me like she didn’t want to deal with me. Whenever I saw her walking around she mainly ignored tenants unless she was giving a tour and didn’t wanna bother with a simple hello 90% of the time unless it was in full view of a potential tenant. It’s a shame too, I have no complaints against Sam he’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

We love it here. Sam is the best and is always friendly and willing to help in any way. They are older apartments but have been maintained well. I have had absolutely zero complaints and we have lived her for almost a year.

My first apartment moving out was here at fox hollow. No complaints. Sam does a really good job as a manager, keeps up with work orders and is overall extremely helpful. Would recommend these apartments to anyone. I had a one bed, one bath and the bedroom seemed the same size as the livingroom, it's huge. This is a great place to start when searching for apartments. Get a tour, if they have one available, definitely a great place to live.

No there's not Wi-Fi in the individual apartments the only way to get that is to get with Comcast for another ISP to get that in your home
