I wish I could give this place zero stars. Terrible experience with them today. Found two abandoned barn owl chicks on a busy sidewalk with no cover or signs of a shelter nearby. They were obviously unable to fly. Since there was no clear nest around I tried to take them here. I was told to put them back on the sidewalk and leave them because it was "perfectly normal and their parents will take care of them" and that I was "on my own" helping them. I'm no expert but I know white fluffy owl chicks on the ground is not normal so I called Lindsay Wildlife for a second opinion. Upon seeing the pictures of the owls Lindsay said they were clearly too young to be or of the nest and to bring them in immediately. Suisun refused to even look at the photo of the owl chicks to verify that they were an appropriate age to be left of the ground. For anyone considering bringing an injured or orphaned animal here, go to Lindsay first.

This is a nice place to visit on a hot day. The sound of the water and the boats is pleasant. Be sure to take a walk through the wildlife preserve, lots of opportunities to take pictures. The bathroom is open until 4pm so plan accordingly. There are 3 or 4 picnic tables to rest on or enjoy a snack or lunch.

Love! Love! Love! The people and their mission here for all wildlife. They need so much support to keep up what they do. Please consider donating. My kids even had their birthday party there one year and they went out of their way to make it so special for our kids and the guests! Absolute best organization ever!

It's very small but the parking lot is gravel. If you dont have issue with that, it should be fine.
