The library staff and library contents are very positive and well organized. The staff never circulates and checks the levels of conversation with groups that are present. The problem I have had in the past is high school kids will sit at a table, maybe five or six of them and talk to each other while having a meeting of sorts, not read and study. They just make a commotion. It is hard to read while these people are creating all this noise. The staff does not intervene and correct this issue. Libraries are to be quiet environments and not meeting places like a coffeehouse. I would appreciate if the staff would take note of this problem and correct it. Thank you very much.

Love this library! Great selection and community resources, beautiful space (though looking forward to the updated floor) with nice light. Thoughtful organizational touches like having book categories and their related documentaries and films next to each other.

Honestly, the Rohnert Park library is FAR better. This library is dirty and outdated, and there's always homeless people hanging around the front door and the little garden in front. The park right behind it smells terrible, and it's always filled with homeless people sleeping and peeing anywhere they please, even if it's right against the library.

I went up to the counter and asked a woman if this was where I needed to go to check out a book. She doesn't bother to look at me and says sarcastically, "Yes, but you need to wait your turn in line." I looked around and there was NO ONE THERE! So I said slowly, "okay," and sat down in one of the chairs because I didn't know what the hell she was talking about. Then about ten seconds later, a group of white kids came up and stood in between the barriers where the line is supposedly supposed to form. She looks up at them and smiles and says, "Can I help you?" Wow, seriously? My race, regardless if you like it or not, should not matter. I haven't bothered going back since.
