At the suggestion of a friend, and as my husband and I were looking for a church to attend, we came here and we are so glad we did. We were immediately welcomed and so warmly invited to participate in both the liturgy and the social hour. This feels like our spiritual home, and we will continue each Sunday.

We help distribute free food every Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Elim Lutheran Church, 504 Baker St. in Petaluma. The Salvation Army on South McDowell also gives out food: Tuesday (USDA Food), 1:30 pm. - 3:30 pm. Wednesday & Thursday (Emergency Food), 9:00 am. - 12:00 pm. *Please come to the back warehouse for food distribution* You can call them at (707)769-0716 if you have any questions. Hi Ida, I'm sorry I missed your message until now. Free meals are available at the Mary Isaak Center, 900 Hopper St, Petaluma. If you can make it to our office at 40 Fifth St., we could help you out with a Safeway Gift Card. The office is open from 10 to 2 today. The Food Pantries in Petaluma, organized by local churches, are: Tuesday from 5:30 pm — Petaluma Community Center at 320 North McDowell Boulevard — North parking lot Thursday from 5:30 pm — Interfaith Food Pantry at Elim Lutheran at 504 Baker Street
