The Petaluma Adobe is well-maintained and is a focal Center for many activities in the Petaluma Valley. It is a definitely worthwhile historic stop for families and kids. Take the time for a stop in to stretch your legs and to share some history of California with your kids and family and then go next door to Green string farms for organic vegetables and produce

Nice stop for a walk, picnic, history lesson and clean bathrooms.

Brings back lots of memories it's wonderful for young ones to go hike on and learn history about all the acreage and what the beautiful adobe building was utilized for and what happened on all that land. The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible but they put porter potties outside of the bathrooms that are. No bicycles are allowed on the trails but dogs are okay on a leash. They do have a bike rack at beginning of the state park trail

This park is included in the Historian Pass, so I popped in for a peek. What a cool park! You actually get to walk around the grounds and buildings, including the second floor which is neat! I'd like to go back. They do a lot of educational events as well.
