The lady at the front desk was nice to me and accidentally charged me less for the 1st month which she said, "It's my fault so I'm not raising the price after you already wrote the check." She did give me a really dirty can to take home and it still smells of horse manure almost a year later! That said, the garbage collector is always prompt and does a good job. Nobody told me anything about recycling however. I saw my neighbors putting out cardboard so I do that. I'm not sure what to do with GLASS. It's not their fault that NOBODY takes plastic anymore. The fee PER MONTH is $23.45 for a smaller can. That equals about $5.80 FOR EACH CAN! It's not their fault, apparently, as the transfer station keeps raising the rate too!

The guys that come to pick up the recycling are friendly, which is the only reason I didn’t give only one star. Otherwise customer service is terrible, and if you happen to leave a piece of plastic in your recycle bin they’re not allowed to even touch any of it. Unfortunately, there is no other garbage service in Cottage Grove, and the only other option is to haul your own garbage off to the dump.

I just moved into my house....I had to give my current mailing address of my previous address. Then I gave them my new address which I was going to be living. I never got a bill. Go to ask why I hadn't got my bill? They were sending it to my old address. I tell the lady I need to change it to my current address so I can pay it and know when it it's due. She tells me she will take care of it. It has been over a month and I still haven't received a bill. I called today to check to see if their was a problem? The lady never changed it when I went in to see what was wrong and change my billing address. What was the worst part is when I called to ask, the lady on the phone acted like it was my fault. She was rude, and never apologized. If I didn't need the service, or had a truck or time. I would recommend doing it yourself.

No. Holiday? New service? Call them.
If you have something in the bin that's not recyclable they won't pick it up. We missed pickup two weeks because we didn't hear about the recent change of absolutely no plastic recycling any more.
As per the service agreement "Holidays: There are six holidays we do not collect residential garbage and recycling: New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If any of these holidays fall on a Monday through Thursday on or before your day of service, your service day will be one day later that week. All other holidays are on regular schedule"
