Actually quite peaceful. I was there between 920am to 1015am. Some singles, couples, 2 sanitation members and children playing. All very friendly. Enjoyed the Hudson River , that the Governor is going to ruin the River by putting a electrical cable from Canada to NYC TO SUPPLY POWER TO THE CITY AND WE ARE GOING TO PAY FOR IT FINANCIALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY. CHECK IT OUT FACT CHECKERS.

Excellent place to watch the fireworks on the 4th. Not too crowded. Not too buggy

Nice location to walk along the river. Could use some work on maintaining the flower beds and grounds.

Like a mile and a little bit more
Free although i dont believe theres a designated parking lot, its mostly street parking depending on where your walking into the park from, as there are multiple entrances and it even connects to the elevator that will bring you up to the walkway. I believe the park is always open however the walkway over the hudson closes around sundown depending on the time of year
