This place is a nice place to go with family. It has a beautiful scenic view and there are many stops along the way. The only downfall is that there are areas where the homeless have created encampments for themselves, this is risky since many people take their children and/ or will go alone. Will feel safer is there was a park ranger roaming through the park.

Peck Road Water Conservation Park is a 0.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near El Monte, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, bird watching, and fishing and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail. Parking is free. I like that this park has a good view of San Gabriel Mountains. Overall, it’s a decent park but it can be better.

I love bike riding here. The park itself is pleasant. It's nice what different conservation groups have done to beautify the area.

There is lot's of fish here. There are different types of fishes and their metabolism slows down. I've been fishing here's for the past 2 weeks and been catching at least 1per day. Be changing lures or use red worms, it might help you on what type of fish you are going after. Hopefully this information helps you out. Tight lines buddy
Not sure but I don't think you need a license. Water level is really high right now too and very clear!
Water is polluted, fish is not edible, also may have three eyes.
bass ,catfish, trout its better to catch and release and take your fishing license
Don't really know but word of mouth, they don't stock trout. I will try to fish for trout soon
Is not paid
No permit to fish or bbq there But it is not recommended to eat the fish you catch There's no fee to even get in the park
There are salmon and squid, etc.
Ive caught bass, catfish, and carp. There might be other spices but that's all I've caught here.
There are signs saying they found the water to be contaminated. But no one is gonna stop you if you want to take the fish.
The Morning is the best time. You can spend all day at the park fishing early and then relaxing under a tree in the middle of the day then fish in the evening what a day.
Yes it has wheel chair access. The road is dirt and sandy but you should not have trouble getting around. Enjoy have fun.
Yes children and there parents can enjoy a day of fishing at the lake.
No it's not permitted. What you can do is BBQ walk around the lake or just relax on the grass and do take the kids and or dog thay will enjoy there time out doors
There are no signs indicating not to, on the other hand I have yet to see dogs swimming in the lake ..
I've been fishing it since I was a kid. Bas. Carp. Bluegill. Catfish. Caught a Trout once there in 1990.
Parking is and always has been, 'FREE."
