My first time at Joey's. My wife has been trying to get me here for awhile and I can definitely see why. Joey's has a relaxed, classic Italian vibe. You are greeted kindly and the staff is courteous and attentive throughout. The food: the fresh bread with garlic butter was magnificent, the house salads were fresh with a lovely balsamic dressing, the stuffed mushrooms burst with flavor, the new york style cheesecake was perfection and the cannoli had the best filling I've ever had. The main dishes: Eggplant parm was a work of art and my wife couldn't believe how they did it. The meatball with her eggplant was wow-worthy even though it was slightly cold. The Veal braciola was good but not great and compared to everything else an expectation disappointment. As mentioned it was good but it didn't pop with flavor and excitement like everything else did. I found that surprising given the described ingredients, nonetheless it became a sidenote to a wonderful meal and experience. I look forward to trying more in the future.

Visited Pronto Joey's after a friend's recommendation. Got so much delicious food for such a great price! Will definitely be back anytime I'm back in Syracuse!

Last night I went to Joey's to meet up for a first date with a woman I had never met. Turns out this woman was pretty awesome, and we had a wonderful night. We sat at this table talking for hours, for over an hour past when they closed actually, and nobody bothered us at all. We ordered appetizers, the greens and mozzarella sticks. Our waitress was very pleasant, friendly and helpful when we needed her, and she didn't rush us at all even after they had closed without us realizing. Fantastic customer service at this place. The atmosphere was casual and pretty comfortable. We ate upstairs which is a smaller place, but it didn't feel cramped. I think downstairs is a little nicer and they have a different menu. Both options seem good though. I have no opinion on the food because I was so distracted with this wonderful new lady, neither of us really ate anything. It all looked good, and I hear their food is good, but I'll have to go back to give it a real try.

I love traditional, family-run Italian restaurants, and this is a perfect example! Continuing in my quest to eat Italian without actually eating any bread or pasta (it's a gluten thing), I had a soup appetizer, and then grilled sirloin steak topped with sauteed mushroom and onion. Side salad of course. All were delicious. No draft beer, but Peroni and Chianti by the glass 🍺🍷. Service was attentive. Oh, and it's really good value for money.

We are in the orange zone still even though we haven’t had anyone with Covid. Our staff gets tested regularly and we are constantly cleaning and sanitizing. We are open for takeout and you can ask for curbside pickup and we will bring it right to your car. We have family meals available as well as our regular takeout menu - both listed on our website.
You can make reservations at Pronto Joey’s upstairs and Joey’s Downstairs.
Yes I believe so but only one floor
You will probably need reservations of you want to eat upstairs on the more upscale restaurant. They have a website that is very detailed.
I was only there once. I don't know. Enjoy your dinner!
Seems like a question that you should call and ask. I imagine it may vary with the market.
Call in advance. I believe they do
There is a room off of the bar that has less tables possibly a little quieter.
