Ordered the strip steak special medium rare. The steak came out well done. The server, Heather (great waitress), agreed and gladly corrected the issue by offering another choice on the menu or preparing another steak. I chose another steak....it came out awesome.

Our first and last time here. This place smelled like an old cafeteria and the food was just as unappetizing. Chicken ceaser wrap was dry and lacked any seasoning. The French fries were freezer crinkle cut and not tasty. The open faced Ruben tasted okay but lacked enough to be considered a Ruben. The bread wasn't rye, the sauerkraut was lost under some cheese. The pickle on the side was dry and not crunchy. Coleslaw tasted like it has been around a while, too much mayo and missing flavor. Don't waste your money here.

A totally wonderful dining experience in the small town of Macedon, Western New York. The food options vary. From the apps to the entrees and everything in between, you can't go wrong with whatever your taste buds wants to savor. The portions are huge, no matter what you order. Whenever I'm in this neck of the woods, I try to dine in at Flaherty's. Due to the pandemic and not being in this area for about 3 years, imagine my surprise when I walked in today to see the place completely renovated. The expansive bar area is now on the opposite side of the building. There's a huge, covered outside patio as well as another reserved area for private parties. The place is very roomy with televisions screens everywhere you look in the bar area. I definitely recommend this place for dining and will continue coming back here whenever the opportunity arise.

My husband & I dine at Flaherty's-Macedon just about every Thurs. for lunch. Sue the Receptionist is so welcoming, Nora the Bartender is so helpful, Kathy the manager is so knowledgeable & best of all is Carrie, the waitress we always request. She makes our visit so much fun & makes us feel as though we're her only customers. Of course, the food is wonderful ! In mentioning Kathy W. - - she actually runs this place. It's amazing how she responds to some of the staff & we witnessed her chatting with some unruly customers & how she calmed everyone down ! She truly is the heart & soul of Flaherty's !!!
