Loved the feel of the old times. They have pictures and everything they used back in the old trains. We got to go and walk around the trains also which was pretty cool.

Very helpful and enthusiastic staff, who took the time to provide a personalized tour. The depot is nicely restored, the telegrapher's office would be a great location for a vintage film shoot or video. The outside exhibits are equally interesting, the steam locomotive restoration project, in the east end of the cleverly renovated freight house is remarkable. A very worthwhile trip

The volunteers were great! We got a tour from a very knowledgeable young man. He showed us inside a couple cars and was full of fun knowledge about the history of the pacific NW railroads. Very inspiring for my 9 and 11 year old boys.

Closed at first approach due to insufficient volunteers -- today's guy was sick. However, one of the restoration carpenters noticed us outside and opened temporarily for a tour. Amazing collection. What they have restored is gorgeous. What they don't has huge amounts of history attached nonetheless. The museum is truly inspiring. Imho, it deserves more volunteers so that more people can visit! Go visit and get inspired!

We will be having Toy Train Christmas this year. We display many common gauges of trains. There is also a short train ride to the North Pole to see Santa and get pictures. The museum opens up one week after Thanksgiving.
We are open by appointment. The phone numbers for contacting are on the webpage. If you want to speak to a real person contact the webmaster under the "Contact Us" .
Yes we are. 10 am to 4 pm Wed-Sat.
It is absolutely viewable by the public. The best days to see it and get a tour of the museum and the shop are Saturdays during the daytime from 10 to 4, but you can show up other days too.
As the 1364 is in a live working shop, viewing up close is sometimes restricted. We have a safe zone that if work is being done you can view it. Tours can be arranged for even closer views when a docent is available. Since we volunteers are proud of our displays finding a willing docent is real easy. Also even though we are closed from now (January 19) til May that special tours can be arranged by contacting the webmaster on the website, nprymuseum, org .
N.P. 1364 has not been completed at this time. Unexpected repairs are underway and will be undergoing F.R.A. hydro in the near future.
