I do need to start with the fact that I love the food, beer and TVs here. But they need to remove the "sports" out of the bar's name when you don't even get the channel that San Diego's ONLY pro sports team, the Padres, occupies. This is especially cringe worthy when Rockin baja lobster, 2 doors down and NOT a sports bar, has the Padres on no fewer than 6(!) TVs. When they remedy this egregious mistake I'll change this review to 5 stars... Addendum: I wanna reiterate that I love this bar, but I want to correct the owner's response about blacked out Padres games, MLB does not black out local games unless they are on Appletv. You guys need to switch to a TV service that carries Bally Sports San Diego like Cox (channel 56 and 1056) and Directv (channel 694). Again Rockin Baja Lobster has the correct service literally next door... Need to carry our only pro team!

A dive bar vibe but in the most positive way. Fantastic beer selection, cool servers, and nice clientele. Plenty of day drinking going on outside on the patio and inside! A few TVs to keep the sports fans happy as well 😁. A few other restaurants in the area with good food as well. Go Oceanside!

I was looking for a friendly pub type place for a beer and some food. I did a map search and this came up. I read the one review about good service friendly staff and food food. I am in I order the 3 sausage platter and chose; triple pepper, jalapeño and Italian sausages. It was delicious. Truly a good place to stop by and have pub food. Staff is great and prices are fair.
