I wish I could give this place no stars. This was such a terrible place I felt guilty having my kids in these conditions. There is clearly a issue with the water (smells like sewage) as we over heard inspectors saying they failed water quality; they failed on cleanliness of the breakfast area (witnessed a employee refilling eggs and sausage with bare hands), wash machines broken, as well the fire department having numerous concerns regarding the facility. My children found a razor in our room and the room was very filthy. There was crusted food on our sheets. I feel like the staff really don't like there job. The positives; were there was a park area for animals and separate area for kids.

It is pretty efficient for what is needed for a long-term stay if you get the kitchenette. Not the prettiest rooms. It's kind of bare. But, it definitely has all you need for cooking and eating home cooked meals. Bring your own vacuum if staying for a while with kids. They only clean every 4 days.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The area is very lightly trafficked and close to food and convenience stores . Also had a fridge, close access to parking and a play ground for our child.

I stayed in two rooms over the course of 3 weeks. My first room was relatively clean served its purpose to house me alone while waiting for housing. Before staying on base I paid $109 at the extended stay in temecula and had a better experience and $25 cheaper but had to commute to Pendleton. I needed a dog friendly room for the last 2 nights and they moved me into another room at ward. That room was less than desirable. It was somewhat clean but you can tell dogs have chewed up the base board and ruined the floor. As expected as some people have to house their family for a decent amount of time. Also, the shower was clogged with hair and slow to drain. As I showered in several inches of standing water, a cockroach came out the drain and swam around a bit. Definately not worth the $135 but I guess you pay a little more for dogs. Staff was friendly but I'd prefer another location if I had to do it all over again.

Why is it that all so called “pet friendly” hotels say things like, “dogs under 50lbs are welcome?” It is so insulting!! So, small dog friendly!! I have Great Danes. I clean up after them unlike those w/small dogs. Y r they not allowed?

We didn't see one when we were there. But you can always get in a run on base or drive to the beach and run there. 😉
