This was a great Hotel. I was traveling for work so I was by myself but the room was very spacious had a fridge, dishwasher, stovetop and microwave. I think this would be an ideal hotel for a family that was vacationing in the area because you would be able to save some money by making some meals. The hotel also offers a decent breakfast for free and has a happy hour between 4-6 pm. I loved that you can use the app to check in and use your phone to unlock your room. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel 100%

Positive: The front desk staff was amazing! Top notch customer service. They made our entire party feel so welcome. Our 2 bedroom suite wasn't available so they provided us with 2 one bedroom suites instead. It worked out just great and everyone enjoyed their stay. Negative: Breakfast was tasty,but they seemed short staffed on cleaning & kitchen staff to help manage the needs of so many guests. Kitchen staff could be heard complaining about the lack of help.I kinda felt bad for them.Rating would've been a 10 if not for this.

We were in town for our brother's funeral and booked a stay for three nights. The smoke detector in the room activated (battery issue?) in the middle of the first night. Two employees came to the room and were able to eventually stop the audible alarm, but not the lighted visual alert. One of them rudely questioned why this was a problem for us? Which is ridiculous, because it's purpose is to get the attention of people with hearing disabilities in the event of a problem. Hence, it got our attention causing us broken sleep the rest of the night. The second employee (night manager?) said Homewood Suites would comp our room for the night, and that the issue would be corrected the following day. Also, we were told changing rooms was not an option, because there were no other rooms with 2 beds available. After inquiring and waiting around most of the next day, the maintenance person finally got to the room around 4 pm, at exactly the same time our ride had arrived for a scheduled family event. We did the best we could to quickly describe the issue (seems like a Homewood suites manager could have performed this function?) in order to have the lighted alert reset. Unfortunately, when we returned to the hotel that night, the problem had not been corrected. This night we packed our bags and left to sleep at a relative's home. At that time a manager told us that the night's stay would be comped, and the following night's reservation would be cancelled at "no charge". However, the next day when I followed up with the hotel manager, she said that there is no way she could comp two nights for this issue. Therefore, we were charged $265 for a half of a night's sleep, waste a bunch of time waiting around for a maintenance person, pack our bags and travel (at our expense) to a relative's house late at night after a stressful day, and apologetically impose upon them and sleep on their sofa. At the very least, Homewood Cheektowaga should stand by their employee's word to not charge for the second night. It is ridiculous to have to pay for any of this.

This hotel is very very nice and quaint. From walking in to the lobby, which was also extremely nice. With the fireplace. Nice size for a couple of days to a few days, to a week. Comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi bathtub. The kitchenette area makes the stay worth it. Full sized refrigarator. Just a really great area for some quite.

In the morning shuttles run 4:45am, 5:15am, 5:45am, 615am etc until about 7am. If those dont work for you speak to the staff upon arrival!
I believe you can ask for a early check-in and if possible they will give you one
