Delicious to go breakfast, we can't wait to go back! The biscuits with butter and honey were hands down the best we've ever had.

The maître d was neither warm nor friendly, as we inquired about our telephone reservations and she responded she hadn't checked the messages. I wasn't sure if that meant that morning, or ever. Walking us by many open tables in the brightly lit lobby and foyer, she relegated us back into some passageway. But after this unpleasant reception, everything else here was spot on. Our waitress Sarah soon make us forget about our brisk greeting, and was exceptional, as were all the wait staff we encountered. The brunch was perhaps the best I've had in Buffalo and Western New York.

Different, good beer selection and wine with art pieces throughout the floors. Stood there for lunch

We ordered two different eggs benedict (smoked salmon and prosciutto versions) and they were superb. I also ordered a bloody mary, which was OK but nothing memorable. I do like the ambience here and would definitely come back for a drink some evening.

Yes, if it's not booked
Hi Kathleen, the hotel and restaurant are both open to the public and you are free to explore at your leisure. The Front Desk offers art lists of the current exhibitions and a Then & Now self-guided tour and map with some historic details featuring Hotel Henry's rehabilitated spaces. There is also an exterior audio tour on the South Lawn through 100 Acres' back door (facing Forest Avenue) that is free to walk through anytime.
You should ask them when ordering... There's a chance they can try depending on the dish.
