Chose this for my first Christmas Eve service in San Diego and it did not disappoint! A lovely church, with a rich warm ambiance despite its vast size. The music selection (beyond the traditional carols) was excellent as were the choir and musicians. The structure of the service was great and the candle lighting ceremony was uniquely touching.

What a wonderful experience it is to be in such an absolute amazing place. Pastor Trudy is incredible. The choir and organist are something to behold.

Centrally located Church in Mission Valley. Off I-8, Texas St. Mid-day/Mid-Month events for seniors & singles. Bible study, and Wednesday Organ Concerts!!! 🎶🎹🎼

This is beyond Christian, they are very inviting, realistic, and understanding. Female Reverends, Music Director, Leadership, and high female, LBQT+, value. Highly community oriented, yet still LIVE by they're principles. Nice endowments towards good change. And strong commitment to helping & caring about society. Doer's not just sayer's! So I would suggest much different, in a very good way, from Catholic church. New Beginnings Membership class. Regular Bible studies, groups for all different types of people & the membership. Really Loving! And Hopefully. Also lots of land and Nature to explore. And the MOST Magnificent Pipe Organ (and Largest in area, state?)

Now, November 2021, til today Jan. 2022 have been only 9am at Mission Valley, 10:15am at Ocean Beach. YouTube, website also for both churches, Services, bible studies, and concerts also!!
From fast-food Wendy's, sit-down Denny's on same street. To Mission Center Road(Mission Valley), Corner Bakery, Strip Mall with 1/2 doz. just after crossing freeway Southside-Mission Ctr Rd. Chick-fil-A & JackInBox after SD River, Del Taco too, just bit further. To East across Texas St. is Bully's East w/ famous Prime Rib and Happy Hour specials (weekdays). Remember Wednesday Bible study.
There is a walkway through what is referred to as the Memorial Garden. Those who so elect can have their ashes at their passing placed here in a memorial wall.
