Besides having a wonderful day here at the park...the bathrooms are surprisingly clean.

I was attending a gathering to celebrate a high school graduate. The park was clean, well maintained with a good number of trees for shade. It had a nice playground for children as well as baseball fields. It offered plenty of parking in the back lot and had restrooms by the ball field.

If you go down Broadway toward Escondido high school and keep going toward reedy Creek golf course it's right across the street from the golf club
It closes at dusk so whenever it starts to get dark, unless there is a lit up event. So right now it would be about 8.the outer parking is ok I think just the gate and inner parking is closed
Cool question. Like the guy a year ago said it's named after a similar place in the UK. Their "Jesmond" neighborhood was on the North side of town, as is ours. A "dene" itself is kinda like a small creek, riverbed, forested area, which fits well.
