I need to replace the Front door of my house and decided to check it out with Dixieline in Escondido, CA It went very smoothly at the beginning but then it went downhill. Here is the timeline of my dealing with Dixieline 1/5/22 Called Dixieline and talked to Tobias and made the appointment on the following day 1/6/22 had a real nice visit with Tobias. He was very helpful and knowledgeable 1/13/22 Contractor came to the my house and made the required measurement 1/24/22 Called and left message to Tobias to see what is going on because I have not heard from him since 2/1/22 Called and left message twice still no response 2/11/22 Called store manager and left message and no response 2/12/22 Called and very glad to be able to talk to a real person this time. I got to talk to Supervisor Max and he promised me he will let Tobias know. 2/14/22 Tobias finally calls me back and set up a meeting on next day 2/15/22 meet with Tobias and he said he will call me back with the necessary information 2/21/22 Called Tobias and left message Never heard from Tobias after 2/15/22 Funny thing is it is very hard to talk to a real person when you call. They are always busy with customer but then they never return your calls either. I wish they are honest with me if for some reason they cannot do it just let me know. Ghosting customer is not a good business practice. I finally went to GRAND ENTRANCES in Miramar Plaza and got my brand new door installed on 7/16/22. I highly recommend them.

6/17/22 Update: After negative review, store manager contacted me to apologize and got me a competitive quote for materials. 6/18/22 Update: The quote prepared by the local team was missing nearly half the items I provided on my materials list, which was detailed to include Manufacturer part numbers and quantities. Not very impressed, but I’m trying me best to give them every opportunity. Escondido Store - Stopped in to order new Trex deck and railing for our home. Max (supervisor) said he would work up a quote. Never received. Non responsive t emails. Called to follow up with him after 5 days. He said he’s been busy and handed it off to Wendy. He said he’d follow up and get back to me. Its been a week. Still non responsive to emails. Been two weeks since I stopped in. Looking for another Trex supplier.

Amazing customer service. I went there for a specific type of pine board. I took a few steps in the store and was asked if I needed help. Not long after being in the lumber yard, I was asked if I needed help. After helping me find the best board for my purpose, they cut it for free into 8 - 10 pieces as needed. What a great experience to find an abundance of nice, helpful employees. Very rare!
