After calling 4 butchers looking for someone who would grind ham for me (apparently a strictly Midwestern thing), he was the first to say, although he hadn't done it he would be happy to try. No one else would even attempt. Long story short I was able to make our family's traditional ham balls for our postponed Christmas dinner. The grind and combo of pork and ham was perfect. I dont have a lot of need for a butcher however when ever I do I will be going to Fenwicks..even if I have to drive 40 minutes to get there.

Can't say for certain re: duck, but they DO sell chicken and other non-red meat so it's possible. From my experience, Henry will do just about anything to serve his customer so call and ask--im sure he knows where to get it for you if you don't need it today.
