I love the seating no matter how far you are, you can enjoy the performers. I could see that after the lights went off they let People moved dow to the empty spaces, which is nice. That happen that day I can't say that that's going to happen every time.

First time I've been to Balboa Theatre. Went to see a comedian. Was amazed at how cool the interior of this place was. They kept the original charm from it's initial 1920's look. Pretty decent acoustics also.

This was my first time at Balboa Theatre after a very lomg time! It was amazing. Great staff, yummy wine and kettle corn, great seats! Amazing Show! I will definitely look for other shows at this venue!! Parking was super easy which is the best part for Downtown.

Lovely theater, comfortable seating, well organized, and well staffed. Saw Beth Hart concert here, sound was great, and really fantastic visibility, even from the balcony.

Downtown traffic can be tricky depending on the date/time of the event, but once you arrive at the Horton Plaza garage it shouldn't take long to find a parking spot. Be sure and validate your ticket at Balboa Theatre, especially during Comic Con. More info: https://sandiegotheatres.org/directions-parking/balboa-theatre-parking-and-directions/balboa-parking/
Yes, we're just right around the corner from the Keating!
They offered red and white wine, and a few beers. It's possible they have snacks too.
2 hours prior to show time.
I just went to an event yesterday and it was NOT allowed.
Hi Lori! Are you in Row F of the orchestra or balcony? If you are in the orchestra section, all seats are accessible without utilizing stairs.
Yes, parking is still available at the Horton Plaza Garage, and parking may be validated by theatre patrons for a $10 flat rate. More information on parking for Balboa Theatre is available here on our website: https://sandiegotheatres.org/balboa-theatre?tab=Parking#tab_tab-36-1
Hi Elias - The Theatre the does not currently offer valet parking. More information on directions and parking can be found here on our website: https://sandiegotheatres.org/balboa-theatre?tab=Parking#tab_tab-36-1
You can also park at the Westin.
I did Park in Horton plaza for 20.00 dlls
Yes, online is easier to buy but, we arrived 10 minutes before the show and the ticket offices were still selling tickets,
It depends on the show.
no it's more historical
This is the parking lot of the horton plaza but I suggest you arrive at noon and take the opportunity to eat on the 3rd street there is a place to park and it is good for walking
https://sandiegotheatres.org/directions-parking/balboa-theatre-parking-and-directions/balboa-parking/ Yes, $10 with validation
Horton Plaza has an elevator to all parking levels, and the Balboa offers validation to its patrons in the lobby

If you park at Horton Plaza, be sure to take your ticket and get it validated at the theatre. Then you can get $10 parking for 3 hours.
I think so you are confused because balboa theatre is the theatre in downtown and balboa park is were they offer camps
You Wil have to park at Horton Plaza
Balboa Theater has a website with information about all events
Strollers ate not allowed to block aisles. I'm not sure you would want to bring in a stroller. The theater is older, and would make seating difficult.
Depending on the event, ticketmaster may not be your only option. Look at the home page for the artist/event for extra options. Or book through the theater
