Columbia Cottage is a beautiful, lovely place. It's as close as it gets to living at home! The staff truly care about the residents' safety, well-being and happiness. They have a very strong activities program that engages residents and which they look forward to very much. Unfortunately, a few disgruntled job applicants have brought the overall rating down and have created a false impression. If I needed assisted living, this is where I'd want to be.

I applied there and she did a drug screening and told me she would call me next week, never did. I even left 2 messages. I me that’s discrimination because of my age. Anyone over 30 don’t bother applying they only hire young people. I guess they figure I can’t lift anymore, well I can run circles around those young ones!

The only communities eligible for Medicaid payment in Pennsylvania are Skilled Nursing Facilities (Nursing Homes).
