Really great gem most people not aware of and open to all, even if not staying in one of the cabins. Went there after arduous hike. There are nice relaxing Adirondack chairs on the lawn in the shade. Very friendly staff.

The location is gorgious with plenty of hikeing of all skill levels and the lakes are wonderful. Booking my camp spot was easy, and the staff were helpful and friendly. My tent site was easy to find and clean. The general stoor had plenty of essentials. I hope to stay again soon, renting a cabin and trying the resterant that i didnt get a chance to eat at this time.

A relatively quiet place to use as a base to explore the Newberry crater. The cabins are clean and comfortable.

Cool location within a volcanic crater. Tent camp is functional but, aside from a few sites, there's minimal privacy and shade. Family had a great time fly fishing the lake from the shore. There can be massive swarms of midges in June, not the resort's fault but bring a bug tent if you plan to sit around the picnic table after dark with a lantern! Cute store with pretty much everything within the resort. Try walking south down the shore to find the (gross, but cool) hot springs.

Mike, our rv sites vary in size but the shortest site is 25 feet.
Fire was permitted at the time in their designated fire pits I'm sure the propane fire pit would be allowed if the campfire is allowed but once they shut the campfires down which I don't know if they do then you probably won't be able to use a propane fire pit but you can still cook with gas all season pretty sure
Yes you can!
A little not much though. The RV park sits right across the road from the resort. The whole place up there is beautiful.
For the 2020 season, the tent camping sites are $25 per night plus tax, RV sites are $39 per night plus tax and the cabins range from $99 - $289 per night plus tax depending on size. You can take a look at all of our pricing on our website at eastlakeresort.com. Thanks!
Not as to my knowledge... They do rent boats!
Yes. As others have stated, the sites have power and water. However there are a few with sewer hook-up but usually booked by same people every year. Tip: if you call now and they are booked up, ask them if site 5 can be used. This is a employee site that was open when I was there and i extended my stay a few days in that site because all others were full. This site has full hookups.
It is in a National Forest. All fireworks prohibited.
Tom, we will open 100% on the 25th of May. The first night of lodging is the 24th. The road to the resort is open and you are welcome to come up any time. Just know that we dont have any services until the 24th.
Usually on Memorial Day
