I was incredibly disappointed with my experience last night. After graduating, the bouncer let me in, but not my sister or her boyfriend , who happens to be a veteran. Both of them are several years older than myself. The bouncer said their Connecticut IDs were fake. I wanted to wait for the police to arrive to prove their IDs were legitimate, but was told it wasn't worth it. To the owner...you have something to fix the minute you don't let over-21-year-olds in on graduation weekend. I won't be back again, and you can be sure I won't be recommending this bar to anybody. Get a scanner. Its 2022. Stop trusting your moronic staff to gatekeep who gets in and who doesn't.

The last regulars' bar in town. This place is a shot and beer dive, in the best and truest sense. The service industry regulars and small staff are a tight knit family, but will welcome most any visitor to their home. Just bring the right expectations, a little patience, and an open attitude. It might get muggy in the summer and drafty in the winter. The floor will get a bit sticky as the night goes on. You can also expect great conversation, fun shooters, surprises on tap, and some quality whiskey on the top shelf at fair prices.
