I loved my stay. Because it felt like the staff was catering just to me.

While in town for graduation we decided to stay at Carnegie house and had a delightful time. The front desk was extremely helpful, and accommodated us throughout the trip. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the bathrooms were quite large. We'd definitely come back!

Quaint little Inn. Service was amazing, so was the food. The room made me feel like I was at my grandma’s house, old furniture but clean and tidy. What bothered me was the mildew smell coming from the a/c (luckily it was a nice weekend so we opened the windows), and the mold in the shower. The did say the inn will be closed in Jan. to do renovations, which should make this place stellar. Don’t use the spa! Terrible. Paid $200 for my spouse and I to get massages and all we got was oil rubbed on us with zero pressure. I received no attention while I waited for my spouse to get his massage, found the back lounge area on my own being curious. Overall we had nice weekend here. T.Wray

We were there on a Thursday night and it was very busy. First we ordered the oysters and were very disappointed in the size and taste. We also ordered the Veal and the Pheasant. We ordered the Veal Medium and it came out Med Rare. We also had the Pheasant and it was very uncooked. The dessert was ok. Tracey took care of us that evening and she was very apologetic and offered to bring us something different. We declined , but I must say she was very pleasant and gave great service! This restaurant is over priced and the food undercooked.

I didn't see any jeans in the dining room. Khakis/slacks are probably the bare minimum.
