Excellent establishment. Very clean and nicely decorated lobby and dining area. The included breakfast was superb. Well stocked with numerous choices to chose from. Items included breakfast tacos, two types of scrambled eggs, waffles, oatmeal (with the fixings), variety of cold cereals, bread, bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, and all the usual beverages. Area was constantly cleaned and the entire staff was pleasant. Highly recommended you consider staying at this fine establishment when visiting Penn State University.

I was up for work in the area and had a hotel about 30 min away due to weekend events and I booking last minute. By luck I called Country Inn to see if they had open availability and they did. Within less than 5 minutes they had helped me book a room and had everything ready to go once I go to the hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions a guest may have. The hotel was clean and had a variety of treats out to celebrate Blue and White Weekend. The room was spacious and clean. I highly recommend booking here if you are planning a trip!

Positive: Newly renovated room allowed family of 6 to fit in one space.  the front desk was hospitable and personable-just the warm welcome you hope to have when traveling. Hot/cold breakfast buffet options were great for family. Free Wi-Fi and Pool=¿¿ Negative: Outlet in the bathroom wasn¿t working¿must have been skipped over in renovations

The staff was absolutely amazing during my stay. They had called me prior to my reservation to inform me that the hotel was under major renovations to the entire hotel, rooms, pool, etc., so when I arrived it wasn't a shock to see a construction taking place. The construction crew I encountered during passing were also very polite and friendly. There were signs pointing to where to park, check in, and where the hot breakfast was being served (which is included). I had stayed in the extended suite as it was the only hotel room I could find in the State College area that provided a table with 4 chairs in the room itself which was what I was needing. The room was very clean including the bathroom. There is a gas station with a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance. Everything you could need (food, shopping, etc.) is within a 5-10 minute drive. Penn State University is also 5-10 minutes away as well so it's a great place to stay if you are coming to tour the college.

I believe there was a sign in our room that stated you would be charged $200.00 if you smoked in the room.
Not as far as I know.
