Peking Garden Restaurant

I've ordered from Peking Garden many times in the past and have always had good food. Not today. Apparently the restaurant was sold, but the name will stay the same. I typically get the same thing: sesame chicken and fried rice. This time the chicken was very dry, very little sauce and the fried rice had no real taste - it was bland. The vegetables in the rice were huge, that you got more large pieces of vegetables as opposed to rice. I don't think I'll be going back, now that I know it's new owners.

Ordered from here because the 2 other Chinese restaurants in the area are now closed on Tuesdays. It is sad to see that the restaurant is still unable to do dine in, but they are handling the take out orders as best they can and the woman who takes the orders was extremely friendly and polite despite how busy you could see she was. Aside from that...I love that they put egg in their fried rice. Not many Chinese spots around this area do that. Our shrimp and brocolli, the shrimp smelled foul and tasted even worse. Our vegetable lo mein barely had any vegetable and was more overloaded with noodle. Our general tsos was more full of sauce than chicken. I was not satisfied with our order unfortunately and I hope others have a better experience.

I give this restaurant a rating of 0. This place was overpriced for garbage food. A complete rip off. I paid 15 dollars for shredded beef with veggies and rice. It was majority veggies which tasted horrible. It's had little to no beef. What meat there was is basically small strips of fat. Then the customer service was poor. They gave me two soy sauce packets and two small thin napkins. Which there was another person buying so we asked for a few more. The women got annoyed and said we already had some. We insisted because two tiny thin napkins and two small soy sauce packets were not going to do the trick. Terrible attitude. Bad food and overpriced. We didn't even finish it. Just tossed it in the garbag.

The little girl was so sweet who took my order at 8:40. I felt so bad but she was so sweet about, & let us order 20 minutes before closing. It just warmed my heart! I love this place. They are always so sweet, & their food is the best from Sunbury to Milton. Plus their sushi is always so perfect! Thank you!
